Update from the CI Office |
|
|
The Combustion Institute office is excited by the activity level we are experiencing here in Pittsburgh. This year we saw the successful launch of the annual publication of the
Proceedings of The Combustion Institute - a huge thank you to all authors and guest editors who contributed. Currently, submissions are being accepted for the 41st International Symposium on Combustion and the planning teams are hard at work.
As we approach the end of 2025, we are proud of our continued growth. We welcome Lillee Couture as our new Communications & Content Facilitator. Lillee brings international and outreach communication skills to the CI which will allow us to continue to expand our reach. The CI is dedicated to the principles of serving our members and serving their science, as illustrated through the initiation of the CI Quarterly Town Hall Meetings, along with our increased communications and assistance with our member sections.
In addition to all our activity, our members continue to make innovative strides. You will read about some of their advancements and accolades in this newsletter. If you have news you would like to share or highlights you would want featured, complete this form or send the information to Lillee at communications@combustioninstitute.org.
